About Us
Our core mission is simple yet powerful: “To help others & provide opportunities in a happy & nurturing environment – resulting in empowered, self-confident and fulfilled individuals.”
Mission Statement
Our mission at Dynamic Gymnastics Academy is to provide a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment where people of all ages and abilities in the Motherwell community can discover a lifelong love for gymnastics. We are dedicated to delivering professional coaching that builds confidence, discipline, and physical health, fostering personal growth from our parent-and-baby classes to our competitive squads.
Our Vision
This vision is the driving force behind everything we do. We see gymnastics as a tool to build more than just physical strength; we use it to build character. We aim to create an atmosphere where every member, from our youngest toddlers taking their first steps on the mat to our elite athletes competing on the world stage, feels supported and empowered. The ultimate goal is for every person who walks through our doors to leave feeling more confident and fulfilled than when they arrived.
Our Core Values in Action
To bring our vision to life, our entire team lives and breathes a set of core values. These aren’t just words on a poster; they are the principles that guide our daily actions.
WE spread kindness: A simple smile, a word of encouragement—kindness is at the root of our community.
WE give positive energy only: We create an uplifting and optimistic atmosphere where everyone feels motivated.
WE respect everyone: Every member, coach, and parent is treated with respect and dignity.
WE work as a team: We support each other, celebrate successes together, and overcome challenges as one unit.
WE put the person before the sport: The well-being, happiness, and personal development of our members will always be our top priority.
WE strive for world class standards in everything we do: From the cleanliness of our facility to the quality of our coaching, we aim for excellence.
This philosophy ensures that whether you’re joining a fun parent-and-baby class or our competitive programme, you are entering a space that is dedicated to positive personal growth.

FAQ
What is the youngest age my child can start gymnastics?
Your child’s gymnastics journey can start from as young as 3 months old in our “Baby Movement & Play” classes, which are fun, sensory-focused parent and child sessions. We then offer classes for every stage, including toddlers, our popular independent preschool classes for ages 3-5, and programmes for all school-aged children and adults.
A My child has no experience and isn't very coordinated. Is that okay?Asked Question Surrounding Your business
Absolutely! Most of our members join us as complete beginners. Our classes are designed to build skills from the ground up in a fun and supportive environment. Our coaches are experts at teaching the fundamental movements of gymnastics, helping every child to build their coordination, strength, and confidence at their own pace.
How do I sign up for a class or a trial session?
The best way to get started is to browse our class descriptions on the website to find the perfect fit for your child’s age and ability. You can then use our online booking system at classforkids.io and book a trial session. We’d be delighted to help you find the right class.
What should my child wear to their gymnastics class?
For safety and comfort, we recommend snug-fitting activewear like a t-shirt with leggings or shorts. Children participate in bare feet, and for safety reasons, all long hair must be tied back and no jewellery (including small stud earrings) can be worn. Official club merch can be purchased directly from our website shop page.
Are your coaches qualified and background-checked?
Yes, the safety and development of our members is our top priority. Every one of our coaches holds nationally recognised qualifications from Scottish Gymnastics and is a member of the PVG (Protecting Vulnerable Groups) scheme, ensuring they are fully background-checked to work with children.
Where exactly are you located?
We are based inside the main Ravenscraig Regional Sports Facility in Motherwell. When you arrive, our dedicated gymnastics hall is easily accessible from the main reception area. The facility has ample free parking available for all our members.
Do you offer specific classes for children with Additional Support Needs (ASN)?
Yes, we are proud to offer dedicated ASN classes. These sessions are run by specially trained coaches in a calmer, sensory-friendly environment, allowing children to learn and enjoy gymnastics at their own pace. Please contact us to discuss your child’s individual requirements.
Do parents stay to watch the classes?
For our Parent & Child classes (Babies & Toddlers), parental participation is a key part of the fun! For our independent classes (Preschool age and up), we find that children focus and build confidence best without distractions. We have a designated viewing area for parents to watch and enjoy their child’s progress.
